shape12 Buckets Mentoring

12 Buckets is a shining light for kids in schools

Koondoola Primary School Principal, Ian Ralph, had seen many mentoring and coaching initiatives across his career. But immediately after seeing the work and impact of 12 Buckets, he knew it was something special. He saw the impact of 12 Buckets first hand.

“I realised quickly that 12 Buckets is such an important program for the kids in primary schools, particularly for our kids here at Koondoola. We’ve got kids that are really facing some early challenges and adversity in their lives,” he said.

But without the support of the community around us, 12 Buckets would not be able to have the impact in the lives of students that we currently have.

“The mentors who invest their time to be with students, they’ll never forget the generosity, they will never forget you, and that’s a powerful thing to remember.”

Enabling young people to grow into respected and valued members of the community

Our guiding principles and network of generous volunteers and mentors enable us to lift up the young people within our schools and give them the support they need to contribute positively in our society.
