It's not often that a group of primary school children have the opportunity to attend university. But that's exactly what happened to a group of 12 Buckets students from Balga and North Balga Primary Schools, when they visited Curtin University recently.
12 Buckets are extremely thankful for the community partnership with Curtin University that enabled these students to experience a day in the life of a university student and see a glimpse of what is possible.
As a follow up to this excursion, representatives from Curtin are teaming up with Kaboom Percussion, and will visit Balga Primary and North Balga Primary on 16 October. This event will expose the students to various connections between science and music - should be an entertaining and enriching day all round.
