Sponsor A Child
Sponsor a Child - CHANGE a life
WHAT YOUR MONEY INVESTS IN
Over the years, the 12 Buckets program has produced outstanding results. The 12 Buckets One-to-One Mentoring Program is its stand-out success.
Tailored one-to-one mentoring is the core element for helping children build stronger futures through 12 Buckets. Our strengths-based approach engages each student in a tailored module of learning that aims to develop a student’s ability in an existing area of interest while contextualising socio-emotional and academic learning within the skill development process.
For this reason, our goal for 2017 is to source funding to sponsor 250 students now and into the future - both in the primary and high school environments.
From less than $6 per week you can positively impact the life of a child. It costs $1,200 for a child to be a part of the 30-week one-to-one mentoring program and this can be reduced to $25, $50 or $100 per month.
Together we can achieve so much.

WHEN YOU SUPPORT 12 BUCKETS FINANCIALLY, YOU HELP TO :
- Fund a 12 Buckets School Liaison in a School.
Along with recruiting, coordinating and equipping our mentors, the School Liaison collaborates with the school so that a tailored module of learning can be developed. Sustaining this role is critical to our ongoing success.
- Ensure that the children and mentors participating in the 12 Buckets program are properly cared for.
Along with recruiting, coordinating and equipping our mentors, the School Liaison collaborates with the school so that a tailored module of learning can be developed. Sustaining this role is critical to our ongoing success. It's vital that we uphold highest standards when it comes to the selection of mentors and the care of all our participants. There are a lot of administrative processes acting as the non-visible backbone to our program and your generosity builds further strength into the core of our celebrated program.
- Enable 12 Buckets to reward children for their outstanding achievements.
We think it's important to celebrate with vibrancy and meaningfully reward children for their achievements. There are a few different ways this occurs and presently, we're working on a scholarship aspect to our reward system.
A Beautiful Impact Story
Danny, is a local Perth legend who has been mentoring at Balga Primary School since 2014. He has taught a few young lads some basics in woodwork and, more than this, he has been a tangible expression of kindness for boys needing a strong male role model.
One of the students he walked alongside wrote about both 12 Buckets and his opportunity to learn from Danny, saying:
12 Buckets has changed my life. 12 Buckets has helped me to be who I really am. I feel a lot more confident with myself and I feel like I am supposed to be here, where I am.
